About Me
Hello, I'm Wendy, and I'm deeply passionate about living a life full of vitality, authenticity, and simplicity. For me, that means embracing practices that connect me to the present moment, like yoga, breathwork, and cold water exposure. Whether it’s moving my body in nature, experimenting with creative recipes in the kitchen, or diving into the icy waters of my lake year-round, I find joy in the simple, powerful rituals that make life truly vibrant. As a certified Holistic Longevity Lifestyle Coach and Yoga Instructor, I’ve dedicated my life to helping others discover the same sense of freedom and resilience that these practices have brought me.
My Journey
In the spring of 2021, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. This experience challenged me to dig deeper into my own wellness journey and discover the true power of the mind-body connection. I made the decision to take my health into my own hands, trusting my intuition and choosing a holistic approach to healing. Eating nutrient-rich foods and green juices was the medicine my body needed. Inspired by the dedication and mission of Wim Hof, I incorporated his method—breathwork, mindset, and cold exposure—into my daily routine. Alongside this, I committed to my daily Activated Asana Yoga practice, a unique blend of movement science and traditional yoga that focuses on building stability, strength, stimulus, and mobility at 'end range.' This practice has been instrumental in keeping both my body and mind resilient and strong, helping me to navigate the challenges of recovery with grace and determination.
For months, I immersed myself in my lake, practiced daily breathwork, and nurtured my body with these simple yet profound tools. Within six months, my blood work showed significant improvement, and today, 3 years later, there are no signs of cancer. I feel stronger, more energized, and more resilient than ever. This journey has not only healed my body but has also deepened my commitment to helping others discover their own potential for healing and transformation.
Building a Community
One of my greatest passions is building a community of like-minded individuals who are dedicated to living long, healthy, and joyful lives. As a Wim Hof Method Instructor, certified yoga teacher, integrative breathwork therapist, and holistic health & wellness coach, I am committed to sharing the tools that have transformed my life. Together, we can explore the power of breath, mindset, and cold exposure, unlocking the incredible potential that lies within each of us. I believe that when we come together with a shared purpose, we can inspire and support one another in ways that amplify our individual journeys.
My Mission
My ultimate mission is to support my students in achieving vibrant health, and longevity at every stage of life. I am passionate about helping people fully connect with their bodies and minds, harnessing the power of presence and awareness to enhance both life-span and health-span.
Through the transformative practices of yoga, breathwork, and cold exposure, I guide individuals to move with ease, adopt movement habits that enable them to heal from injury and become strong, and breathe freely so they can handle their stress with grace, intelligence and balance. My goal is to empower you to live fully, embracing each moment with a strong, resilient body and a peaceful, aware mind.
Let’s embark on this journey together, finding comfort in the discomfort, and unlocking the magic that lies within.
Much love, Wendy
