About Breathwork & SOMA

Breathwork refers to various techniques that involve consciously controlling and regulating breathing patterns. Breathwork simply uses your breath to make a positive change to the way you think and feel.

Breathing consciously has the ability to release anxiety, stress, and tension, and shift stuck emotions that create heaviness and overwhelm in the body.

Think of it as a workout for your nervous system, bringing your body back into balance.

The SOMA Awakening is a breathwork ceremony featuring a series of ancient breathing techniques arranged into a sequence that combines rhythmical breathing to beat-driven music and includes vocal toning/humming, breath retention, meditation, and visualization techniques.

Hi, I'm Wendy

I am so excited to share my passion for breathwork with you in a way that is super easy to access and which has the power to change how you feel in an incredibly short amount of time.

I discovered breathwork 15 years ago while doing my yoga certification in Bali. I recognized the power of it and decided to make it my go-to modality to heal and let go of stuck energy, sorrow, and heartbreak from my past that was holding me back in life. 

Breathwork was 'the thing' that transformed my pain into empowerment and allowed me to move forward to living a life of freedom and joy. I was so completely amazed by the transformation I had that I decided to do a 3-year certification to become a Connected Integrative Breath Therapist. I am also Level 1 Soma Awakening Breathwork Instructor and last year I did another certification as a Trauma Informed PAUSE Breathwork Facilitator. It brings me so much joy to share this work... because everyone should have the experience to feel this magic and change.

Through breathwork, I've cultivated a heightened sense of presence, deepened my connection with my inner self and intuition, and discovered an unshakable calm and tranquillity. It helps to sharpen my focus and keep my energy levels stable...the benefits are endless!

I love how Wendy asked me what my intention was for our session, and then she had a beautiful playlist that was so aligned. She gave me space to just BE and to pause in my body after the active breathing was over. This 'pause' at the end of our session gave me space to integrate the shift she had guided me through! It was just what I needed... perfect!
